THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT: ATTENDANCE BIAS PODCAST CELEBRATES 15 YEARS SINCE HAMPTON 2009

In case you've missed it, the Attendance Bias podcast with host Brian Weinstein, for the previous two weeks and episodes, has been reminiscing about and revisiting Phish history during the 2000 pre-hiatus and 2001-2002 hiatus period, and the 2.0 and break-up period, with members of Phish.net and The Mockingbird Foundation, Scott Marks and Charlie Dirksen.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, the Attendance Bias podcast allows fans to come on and tell a story about a Phish show or jam that was especially meaningful to them, personally, for any reason. The first episode became available February 21 (wherever you get your podcasts, e.g., Apple, Spotify) and is about Phish’s hiatus, which began after the Shoreline shows in October 2000. The second episode became available on February 28, and concerns the band’s breakup, Phish's performances in 2003-2004 generally, and Scott's, Charlie's and Brian's remarkably and profoundly different experiences at Coventry. The second episode also concerns what the jamband scene looked and sounded like without Phish in the years before Phish's return 15 years ago in March 2009. (You can read more about the previous two "This Time Will Be Different" episodes of Attendance Bias here.)

The third and final episode will be released on Wednesday, March 6, 2024---the 15th anniversary of the band’s first show back---and it is about Phish's return to playing and touring as a band in 2009, and the perspectives many fans had about the band and music in 2009, as well as more generally over the course of the past 15 years.
